Happy new year to you all. Well things are going good so far. We have been picking up now for two months now and are starting to learn alot of new things. We went to the center yesterday to sell your recyclables. We weighed in at 1220 pounds total. We thought we might make enough for gas money, but were mistaken. We recieved 1 cent per pound, so our booty was $12.00. We did however keep 1220 pounds of refuse out of the land fill and that is the ultimate goal.

We do need your help to sort these items. Please make sure that you rinse containers. Also take plastic caps off. You can put them in a ziplock baggie. Take off labels and crush them if you can. Also take labels off your tin cans after you rinse them. This will help us so much.
